Thank you so much to Ian Tan for this past week of BTS and appreciation for all the important members of cast and crew that make movie making possible! You can see Ian's film, Sight Reading - nominated for Best Drama, at Scout online February 18-27!

This week, please welcome Raine Bracken @rainebracken, a filmmaker based in Toronto. She began making films in high school at the Etobicoke School of the Arts before further pursuing her passion at Ryerson University’s @ryerson_u Film Studies program. Her work is fueled by her childhood love of literature and storytelling and can be categorized as either whimsical or murderous, although it often lies somewhere in between the two. Several of her films have screened at Scout over the years and have been honored at many other festivals including wins at TIFF Jump Cuts @tiff_net taking home the best animation category for two consecutive years. In 2018 she was a recipient of the Horizon Award for emerging female filmmakers. You can see two of Raine's latest films, Witches and Bitches in Britches, and Swipe Right For Murder - nominated for best Horror - at Scout online February 18-27! Have a great week!
