Festival Passes

We are excited to see you in Boston as we celebrate the power of emerging film, visual storytelling, and innovation worldwide.

This year, Scout offers two different ways to participate in the festival.

All participating Filmmakers receive a free Filmmaker Pass. You will receive a code to "purchase".

KEYNOTES, SPECIAL SCREENINGS at New England Aquarium's Simons Theatre:
All in-person events at the New England Aquarium's Simons Theatre are free of charge, but you must RSVP to attend.

FILM SCREENINGS at District Hall Boston:
Attendees may purchase a Daily or Full-Weekend Screening Pass for our in-person screenings at District Hall.

The Incubator Series and On the Cusp Filmmaker Talks at ICA/Boston Seaport Studio are free of charge, but you must RSVP to attend.

Scout's Workshops have limited availability and all participants must Register/Apply to attend.


Join select live events virtually, and events recorded live free of charge.

Purchase a Virtual Screening Pass for a curated catalog of virtual screenings.

*The health and safety of our staff, attendees, and guests is our top priority. COVID guidelines may evolve based on the recommendations and guidelines set by the MA Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Mask use is optional throughout our host venues, in accordance with City of Boston guidelines. Disposable face coverings are available to visitors as needed.
